📖 What is Stocked?

Stocked is a free web app that helps home cooks keep their kitchens organized. Import recipes from any website, take a photo of a cookbook page, or paste in text — the app uses AI to extract and categorize the ingredients automatically.

📦 Pantry Tracker Track what you have on hand. Get low-stock alerts when you're running low.

🛒 Smart Shopping Lists Missing ingredients are added automatically. Items grouped by store.

🤖 AI-Powered Claude AI reads, categorizes, and deduplicates ingredients on import.

⚗️ Current Status

Stocked is a personal testing project, not a commercial product. It is under active development — features are being added regularly, things occasionally break, and the interface may change without notice.

You are welcome to create an account and use it freely. Feedback is genuinely appreciated and helps shape what gets built next. Just don't depend on it for anything critical — it's a side project, not a production service.

⚠️ Please use a unique password you do not use anywhere else when creating an account. This app is in testing and, while reasonable precautions are taken, security has not been independently audited.

🔒 Data & Privacy

Stocked is built on Supabase, an open-source backend platform. Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database with row-level security, meaning only your account can read or modify your data.

AI ingredient extraction is handled by the Anthropic Claude API. Recipe content submitted for extraction is processed by Claude and subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.

✅ What I will never do: sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond making the app work for you.

Disclaimers:

Provided as-is with no guarantees of uptime, data retention, or fitness for any purpose.
Data could be lost in a database incident. Don't rely on this as your only copy of recipes.
The service may be modified, reset, or taken offline at any time without notice.
AI extraction is imperfect — always review imported ingredients before use.
