Welcome to Research Rendezvous, the research-collaboration app for sharing research questions, datasets, analysis methods, and applied problems.

This page is the support contact point referenced from the App Store listing and from inside the app.

For all support requests — bug reports, account questions, content concerns, or anything else — email info@statslabatcmc.com. We try to respond within 2 business days.

Reporting abuse or inappropriate content

Research Rendezvous has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. The fastest path is in-app:

  1. Report a message — long-press the message in the conversation and tap “Report”.
  2. Report a user — open their profile, tap the “⋯” menu, then “Report user”.
  3. Block a user — same menu on their profile, “Block user”. They can no longer contact you and disappear from your conversation list.

Reports are reviewed promptly. We remove content that violates our Community Guidelines and may permanently ban repeat offenders.

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email info@statslabatcmc.com with as much detail as you can share. Include the reporter’s email (yours), the other user’s email or display name if you know it, and a description of what happened.

Deleting your account

There are two ways to delete your account, and they have different timelines:

In-app (immediate): Profile tab → scroll down → “Delete Account” → follow the double-confirmation flow. Deletion is permanent and takes effect immediately — your profile, posts, drafts, and conversations are removed right away.

By email (up to 7 days): if you cannot sign in or are unable to use the in-app flow, email info@statslabatcmc.com from the email address associated with your account and request deletion. Because we need to manually verify your identity (typically by sending a confirmation message to that email), the email-based path can take up to 7 days to complete.

Frequently asked questions

Q: I forgot my password.

A: On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password?”. You’ll get a reset link emailed to you. If that doesn’t work, contact us.

Q: Can I export my data?

A: Not yet from inside the app. Email us and we will export your posts and conversation history on request.

Q: Why am I being asked to accept Terms again?

A: We update our Terms and Community Guidelines occasionally. When the version changes, the app re-prompts you on next launch. You can re-read the current version at any time from Profile → Terms & Community Guidelines.

System status

For known issues or planned maintenance windows, check the app’s in-experience messaging or email support.

Service availability

Research Rendezvous is provided on an “as is” basis. While we work to keep the service reliable, we do not guarantee continuous uptime, error-free operation, or that any specific feature will remain available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. Your use of Research Rendezvous is at your own discretion and risk. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for any loss of data, lost opportunities, or other damages arising from your use of the app.
